SPRS Plan Of Action Completion Depends On Task Management

When you post on SPRS you attest to continue to work on the NIST Safeguards that are in process, by referencing the “Plan of Action Completion Date”. The Plan Of Action and Milestones (POAM) report lists the required NIST 800-171 Safeguards that have yet to be completed, the assigned person responsible for completing them and the date for completion. The Safeguard with furthest date into the future is the date that you would enter into the Plan of Action Completion Date field.

Task management is a process that is best automated so that ongoing requirements can remind staff of their assigned responsibilities, monitor their progress and document completion of their tasks.
